Product Description
Interested in composting your food scraps from home or office? Waste Warriors have exclusive access to our Bucket Club program to have their pre-consumer food scraps composted and made into vermicompost. This program allows MSU students, staff, and faculty to collect their pre-consumer food scraps and drop it off at a dedicated compost bin located at the Drop-Off Center across the street from our building. This bin has a Bluetooth lock which can be unlocked using the Master Lock Vault Enterprise app. This is a FREE app that can be downloaded through the App Store. Simply add to cart and check out, a MSU Recycling representative will follow up with you during our business hours (Monday through Friday, 8AM-4PM) to get you properly signed up to the lock's server.
For the success of this program, accepted material is limited to fruits, vegetables, coffee grounds and filters. Paper towels used to dry hands can also be collected.
Please do not include any post-consumer food scraps (leftover, meats, cheeses, etc.) or plant material. These materials cannot be composted through our vermicomposting process.
